We had a late start again this morning. It is starting to become a trend that I could get used to! A quick breakfast and then we headed to get the new sofa for the guest room/toy room. Since it wasn't too far away, we decided to pick it up ourselves. Wouldn't have been a bad drive except for all the road construction and many detours we took before finally getting there. It was supposed to be 45 minutes and was well over an hour by the time we made it. But that's ok. We headed back home and both girls fell asleep in the truck. It was a nice quiet drive (minus the shady neighborhood we ended up driving through. It was one of those that if something happened to the car, I would probably keep driving unless the car wouldn't move). The entire ride there, Abby had one question after another so it was nice to have quiet on the way home! We came home and had some lunch. I had a headache so I went to take a nap (thanks babe) and Scott entertained the girls. Mckenzie ended up taking another nap which is surprising since she slept for a good 45 minutes in the car. We got the guest room turned into a toy room and it looks so homey and fun in there. We even got pictures up on the walls! Amazing. We have only lived here 6 months and we have pictures up! We didn't get the room finished before the girls went to bed so it will be a nice surprise for them in the morning!
