Today was Mckenzie's spring party at school. The kids dyed eggs, made chocolate covered peanut butter candies, had an egg hunt followed by a snack. It was a very busy morning for the little ones. Mckenzie was a little upset during the egg hunt. She has never been one to rush around and grab all the eggs she can. Instead she prefers to take her time. Unfortunately, there were a few of her classmates that grabbed up as many eggs they could find, leaving some kids short handed. (Each child was instructed to collect only 6 eggs.) Of course the teachers fixed the situation which put a smile back on her face. I love being able to participate in her activities at school and I know she loves having me there.
