We drove to Washington D.C. today for a mini vacation. The drive was pretty easy and we only hit a little traffic coming into the city. We didn't do any exploring as we got in around dinner time. Instead, we went out for dinner and came back to go swimming. The pool was tiny and filled with a LOT of children. And the water was cold. I mean very, very cold. But, the kids had fun swimming around and that is what counts :) The girls were so excited to get to sleep together, especially since it was a couch that magically turned into a bed. They were both asleep within minutes which is a blessing since they usually have a hard time falling asleep if they are in the same room.
