We skyped with Scott this morning and both girls were pretty talkative. We had a nice chat and then it was back to work for him and we headed to a birthday party. It was an outdoor party and I wasn't sure how to dress the girls as it has been very cool here lately, but it turned out to be pretty nice. Mckenzie did wear mittens, but her little hands get so cold if she doesn't. It got a little windy towards the end of the party, but that made it easier to get the girls off the playground and into the car. Both girls had fun playing, although Abby was a little upset she didn't get to watch her friend open his presents. The party was at a playground we went to a few times last year and it was neat to see Abby play on certain toys that she was afraid to last year. It amazes me how much difference a year makes in a child's life. I forgot the camera so no photos of the girls today.  The rest of the day was pretty boring. We hung out inside since it got cooler as the day went on. Both girls went to bed without complaint so I am very thankful for that. A friend came over after the girls were asleep for a little girl time. It was nice to have an adult conversation without the interruptions of little ones!
