024 flower Scott took the day off from work to get a few things done around the house. The girls were beyond excited that he helped them get ready for school and that he could drop them off at school too! It made for a much quieter morning around here. The girls didn't give him any grief about showering or getting dressed. I wish it was like that every morning :)

Scott and I dropped our car off to get a little maintenance done and then we headed to the gym. I ran farther without stopping today than I have ever done before. I love seeing the progress I am making. It is coming in small steps, but I will take whatever I can get. Someday I will be a runner. It may not be any time soon, but it will happen!

We took the girls for lunch at Subway. We could just as well have saved our money on anything for them. They picked at their sub and didn't like the soup (which they requested). Basically they ate Doritos. Super healthy lunch there! The restaurant was busy so the girls sat at a table by themselves and we sat at another one right near them. They both thought they were so cool to be eating in a restaurant by themselves!

Scott and I cleaned out the garage this afternoon while the girls played outside. It is nice to have a garage that isn't overflowing with junk. Thank goodness the city does a monthly large item garbage pickup. We said goodbye to our old furniture and some broken toys. I love feeling organized. Now we will see how long it lasts...

Abby had her first swim lesson tonight. She couldn't wait to get in the water and had a gleam in her eyes the entire time. I can't wait for the day she can swim without any floatation devices!!!

  1. The light on those leaves is making me very impatient for our daffodils to bloom. Beautiful!
