Abby was so excited to have her friend, Ally over to the house this morning. All of the kids played well together and there were only a couple of minor issues. But what can you expect when four girls get together! The older girls kept running away and hiding from Mckenzie and Mckenzie played right along. Chasing them and laughing all the way. Abby was sad to see her friends leave, but she didn't throw a fit this time. I wonder if she is learning that she will see her friends again so there is no reason to get really upset? After lunch and nap, we went to the park again. So glad my flip flop didn't break this time! Abby is doing so good on her bike. I am so proud of how well she is doing and how hard she is trying to get better at riding bike. There was a little boy at the playground today and he encouraged her to try something she has never done before. It was cute to listen to him give Abby cues on how to do it and watch her follow his lead. Mckenzie played on the swings a little bit today, but she was really all about the slides. She kept going down on her stomach and laughing the whole way. Overall, it was a great day. No major tantrums and both girls have settled into bed without too much difficulty. Plus we got to talk to Scott a couple of times today. It is always nice to hear how he is doing. I forgot to mention that when we talked yesterday, he told me he saw Brad Childress, the Vikings head coach, in Germany and he got to talk to him for like 10 minutes. Apparently a few of the head  football coaches are doing a USO visit.
